Don "Pud" Hull Field

View of Don "Pud" Hull Field baseball diamond behind a chain-link fence.

The Field

The baseball field is named after longtime T-Ball Coach Don Hull who was known to everyone in town as "Pud."  The field is located on the corner of Fine and 3rd Streets across from the Ashkum Early Literacy Center.  It is is owned by the Village but operated by the Ashkum Athletic Association.  The field was named after Hull in 2014.

Empty baseball field under a partly cloudy sky in a suburban neighborhood.

The field is a multipurpose diamond that's used by Central Area Baseball and Softball.

Empty baseball dugout with chain-link fence and concrete base.

The ballpark has been used by thousands of kids over the years.  New dugouts were installed in 2017 to offer more protection to teams from both batted balls and the weather.

Empty metal bleachers in a park under a cloudy sky.

The field has two sets of bleachers behind home plate.  There is also plenty of room to set up your own lawn chairs or pull your car in to watch  along the first base line

Empty baseball batting cages on a sunny day with blue sky and clouds.

Other amenities at the field include a batting cage for all our teams to use and a concession stand for hot dogs and popcorn on game nights.
